11th April 2016
A team from SNC-Lavalin Rail & Transit South Africa will be celebrating their new name at AfricaRail 2016. The exhibition is being hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, from Tuesday 28th - Wednesday 29th June 2016.
Now in its 19th year, AfricaRail is Africa’s longest running and most successful rail industry event. The show is growing year-on-year, with exhibitors and attendees at the most recent EXPO up by 20% and 30% respectively.
The 2016 conference will be the third outing for the Rail & Transit team; they previously exhibited at the 2014 and 2015 shows under their former name, Interfleet. Following the company’s re-brand in January this year, the SNC-Lavalin stand will be situated at location L2 in the Ballroom.
Regional Manager for South Africa, Mike Gallie-James, comments: “There is always a buzz at AfricaRail, but this show will be especially exciting. It’s been a busy 12 months - we’ve moved to a new office in Midrand, and continued our work with the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA). The event will provide a great opportunity for us to chat to visitors about our expanded capabilities.”
