At the recent AfricaRail conference, Interfleet was present to celebrate the launch of the new South Africa office. Regional Manager, Mike Gallie-James, was on hand with other representatives from the Interfleet team to man the stand.
Interfleet has opened the office in Sandton, Johannesburg, after working in the region with clients, including the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA).
Mike Gallie-James has more than 25 years of professional experience in the railway business, including project and programme management; specialising in train systems engineering, from design and specification to commissioning, operations and maintenance. Mike’s international experience includes South Africa’s Gautrain project, the Budapest Metro Line 4 programme and operational efficiency improvements for Swedish Railways.
Mike said: “After a number of years working in the region we’re pleased to finally open our new Interfleet office here in South Africa. Our presence at AfricaRail gave us the opportunity to showcase our work, talk about the new office and build awareness of Interfleet and what we can offer.”
