A team from international railway consultancy, Interfleet, including Regional Director, Michael Grace, will be putting their best legs forward for a charity leg wax.

Dubbed ‘The Ouch Factor’, the Interfleet team will go through the pain barrier to raise money for charity at the upcoming event, Tour De Yorkshire.

The team of Interfleet employees will be taking part in the ‘Tour De Yorkshire’ on Sunday 13 July and cycle 120 miles around Yorkshire, following the Tour De France Stage 1 route. They will join a wider team of participants from across the rail industry in order to raise money for the charity, Railway Children.

The Interfleet team consists of: Byron Buck, Barry Tan, Rich Harrison, Paul Drayson, Alex McCristal and Callum Hall, who all work in the Derby office.

Michael Grace said: “The team has been working hard to not only raise money for the event but also train hard to complete the tough challenge. Their total aim is to raise £1,800 for the Railway Children.

“The ‘Ouch Factor’ is just one of the events the team has been organising to reach their target. There are a number of targets that need to be met for the team to get waxed and I will get my legs waxed if they reach £1,800, unfortunately for me, they’re currently not far from that target….

“We’d like to thank local salon, Harvey Luke, who are donating their services free of charge to help us on the day.”
