The growth of Interfleet, SNC-Lavalin’s international rail consultancy, continues in Sweden. Many new starters have joined the Swedish operation in 2015, with more on the way over the coming weeks.
Catherine Pahl-Ragnesand is the latest addition to the Mechatronics team. She joins Interfleet on 7th September from Tacton Systems AB, where she helped customers with sales configuration and design automation. Catherine has an MSc in Engineering and Machine Programming from KTH.
Sven-Ivar Karlsson begins as Regional Marketing Manager in Gothenburg on 21st September. Sven-Ivar was previously Head of Department at Gothenburg Tramways, where he looked after tram operations and maintenance. He was responsible for auditing the M31 project and also represents the UITP Light Rail Committee.
Sven-Ivar has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University. He supplemented his studies with additional courses in Risk, Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and Man, Technology and Organisation (MTO). His expertise in vehicle maintenance and business - coupled with the relationships he built in Gothenburg and internationally - made him the perfect candidate.
New HR Manager Helena Börjesson will join Interfleet on 1st October, from Vattenfall. Helena possesses solid expertise, which spans all HR processes. She has experience of service industries and boasts extensive global knowledge.
Finally, Muriz Ljuca completes the autumn intake. Muriz studied Engineering at Chalmers and will be joining the Operations and Maintenance team. He has been working as a Maintenance Engineer at Mantena A/S for the past six years. Among other things, he managed the reprocessing of components. Muriz was responsible for creating and updating technical documentation, as well as acquiring replacement components.
