Interfleet has been shortlisted in three categories at the Institute of Internal Communications (IOIC) Awards, to be announced in September 2015.

The IOIC Awards celebrate the best internal communicators. Interfleet’s Group Communications team has been recognised in the ‘Best Operational Communication’, ‘Best In-House Team’ and ‘Best Relaunched Publication’ categories.

The team launched the Group communications strategy in 2014. Initiatives included supporting the HR team with the introduction of benefits portal, InterCentive in September 2014, in association with external provider Reward Gateway.

Another milestone for the team was the launch of global transport magazine, Interview, in 2014. Interfleet’s bi-annual publication is created in-house, in conjunction with leading editorial and design agency CPL.

Interfleet made the shortlist following the company’s recent success at the IOIC Central and North Region Awards. The regional event in February saw Interfleet scoop the ‘Best Magazine’ accolade for Interview. A panel of expert judges also ‘highly commended’ Interfleet in three additional categories.

At the forthcoming ceremony, Interfleet will compete against other well-known names, including M&S, British Airways and Barclaycard. The winners will be announced at a presentation dinner on Friday 25th September at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London.

Update: On the night, Interfleet was delighted to receive the Class Winner trophy in the ‘Best Operational Communication’ category. The Group Communications team also took home Awards of Excellence for ‘Best In-House Team’ and ‘Best Relaunched Publication’.
